Council Member Tony Avella from Queens previously signed the petition and then also sent us an e-mail asking what he could do to help. His office got in touch with us today to show us this letter which they have sent to Mr. Wilpon and the Mets:

Even though they didn't mention us by name, we can't fault them too much, because New York Magazine likes our cause (or at least dislikes that the Mets won't move the Apple). In their weekly "Approval Matrix" the Mets get a big thumbs down for not moving the Apple.
